I have gone to The optical studio a couple of times - mostly for urgent repairs on existing glasses (which were not from them).
The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They fixed my glasses within minutes and I was very impressed.
I had also booked an eye test for a young child and it was a great experience for him; he left with a big smile.
Thank you so much, if I could give you more stars (than ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) I honestly would.

Excellent service and experience. Staff take time to explain options but are not pushy. Extremely thorough, helpful, knowlegable and very pleasant staff to deal with. Very fast turnaround both for new complete glasses and new lenses in existing frames. Individual independent practice and it shows in a positive way. Have been going for several years and will continue to do so

Initially, I was disappointed that as a disabled and housebound resident this local opticians declined me a home visit to take some measurements for new varifocal Transitions lenses that I required.

However, a change of heart has seen this business excel themselves by visiting me at home four times in total to make sure I get the best possible varifical Transition lenses fitted to my Ray-Ban Wayferer frames.

I have received what I can only describe as a top class, personalised service from the manager Siobhan who is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

I have appreciated the care and attention this business has shown me, and very happy with the quality of the product and service they have provided.

I think this opticians has learnt some things about serving and being accessible to local disabled customers from this process, and hopefully appreciated the custom I have put their way as these lenses were not cheap.

I highly recommend the reassuring (free) eyesight assessment provided by The Optical Studio. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. There was no pressure selling and whilst their glasses are rather more expensive than the huge chain stores, I believe it's very important to obtain real professional advice and an accurate prescription with quality glasses.

I visited the Optical Studio recently for the first time, for a thorough eye examination and was delighted by the excellence of their optometrist and the advice and care he took. I was also relieved that he listened to my concerns about the health of my eyes and adapted my prescription accordingly and we agreed an ongoing plan to ensure the best care for my eyes and my general health. As an established independent company all the staff I met offered the very best advice and were friendly and only too willing to be helpful. The Optical Studio is absolutely the best optician I have been to and I can recommend them wholeheartedly.

I have been a client of The Optical Studio for several years, and it was with their encouragement that I started to use contact lenses, after being told by a large brand opticians that I was 'probably not going to get on with them' as I was a 'mature' person. The Studio have been incredibly patient with me, as I have tried several different types of lenses as my prescription needs have changed. They are always happy to try new things with me, and the eye tests with Carmelo have always been very thorough. They certainly know their stuff, and advised me to seek immediate attention at an eye hospital when a potential problem was spotted, which, thankfully, came to nothing.

Yes, you would probably pay less for your needs at a big brand opticians, but for me it is worth every penny for a very professional caring service with a smile.
