Silver Lining has the best selection of not-so-common frames for your lovely face. This is always my first stop when I'm looking for new eyeglasses or sunglasses. Jordan, Erik and Guy have great taste in their recommendations too.

I love EYEVAN frames from Japan and Silver Lining has the best selection in NYC. Last pair they did with purple lenses and they were super. Erik and Guy were awesome.

I purchased a pair of glasses here — Eyevan 7285 Hank — in February. I'm really glad I visited. I described what I was looking for, I was given a lot of options (they quickly figured out what I was going for), and the result is a pair of glasses that I love and which I get compliments on all the time. I would gladly recommend Silver Lining Opticians to anyone, and I look forward to stopping in again on another visit to New York.

Went there looking to purchase glasses last week. They have nice frames but for me, purchasing eyewear is largely about the customer experience. There was one man working the store in a suit and sunglasses who buzzed me in and didn’t brother to reciprocate a hello. As I walked around looking at frames he didn’t look up at me once despite the fact that we were the only two people in the store. As I left and thanked him, again no response. Shockingly horrible customer service.
