Dr. Gosling is nothing short of amazing. He actually quickly found that my old prescription over-corrected my vision which was causing its own set of problems. He showed me images of interior of my eye, noting old injuries I wasn't even aware of -- but I remember the accident that must have caused them. I have never had so thorough an exam in my whole life! Very excited to get my glasses back in a couple weeks! The gal -- Dana? -- who recommended the frames picked a pair that fit my style to a T! The whole experience was really great.

Dr Gosling is great. He is very professional and his eyes tests are very through and with the most up to date technology. He really cares about your eyes and your vision and making sure you are comfortable and happy with your contacts or glasses. His staff is very friendly and accommodating with scheduling and appointments. Very much recommend Optical Matters!

Great frame selection, Attentive exam, Good pricing, Excellent staff and environment!

I’ve been considering contact lenses over the last few years and decided it was time to take the plunge. Not realizing a contact fitting was separate from annual eye exam, I inquired if I could add this on when I handed back my “new patient” forms. I was promptly informed of cost and assured I could be worked in.

Dr. Jessica Bailin was amazing throughout my whole experience. She was accommodating and approachable, answering all of my many questions and communicating with office staff to ensure my needs were met even up until I was walking out the door.

I was definitely nervous when it came time for my first ever trial for contacts, being someone that’s always had trouble touching my eyes (even eyedrops are a hard time). Dana was a delight; funny, patient, and informative when explaining to me different ways to go about putting them in and taking them out. The whole office played a part in offering tips and reassurance when I struggled, and then cheering and celebrating with me when I managed to do it successfully!

Lisa further assisted me with choosing frames and working out best options for my insurance. She was transparent in all pricing and went out of her way to cross-check that I was getting the best possible price/discount. (Also appreciative of her for taking time assisting me in finding the best frames for my style/face shape!)

Didn’t mean for such a long review, but felt the need to express how grateful I am to have happened upon such a memorable experience. I also feel compelled to mention how much of a positive difference they made for me, as someone who generally feels quite anxious in any type of Dr.’s office, to have received the outstanding kindness and care I did today. Will 100% be sticking with Optical Matters from here out. 10/10 recommend!

This place has good service however their prices are way out of line! I have very good insurance Aetna Medicare and Medicaid which they take but still wanted to charge me over 350.00of a total of over 800.00 for my exam and just the usual scratch proof transitions not special or name brand frames Wow! I was flabbergasted!! I would never recommend Optical Matters to anyone!!!!

The staff at Optical Matters are great. I came in as a new patient to do some follow up after having laser eye surgery; they answered my questions with care, kindness, and confidence. Because I no longer wear glasses/contacts, my ongoing optical needs are different, but I'll definitely go back when needs arise.
