Muy amable.
Acudí porqué tenía un problema con una patilla de mis gafas y me lo solucionó al momento, no solo eso, sino que además me regalo un llavero con destornillador de precisión para las gafas y una gamuza para limpiarlas, y todo eso sin cobrarme nada.

Need your glasses fixed on an impromptu outing in the UWS? This place will have you right!

I walked in randomly into modern day optx last Saturday afternoon and asked the two individuals in the store, Jared and Gail, if they do eyeglass repairs. I thought given my glasses weren’t of a brand they offered that they may not be able to accommodate me. To my lovely surprise, they said they would take a look at them and see what they could do! I returned the following day and Jared fixed my glasses (which feel like brand new, thank you!) while Gail showed me the various beautiful and eccentric glasses they had in their shop. I’m so grateful they could fix them on such short notice and so quickly (took but 10 minutes) given I’m heading to Europe in a couple days and could not travel without my glasses.

They also let me know of another location on 73rd st with an optometrist, so I’ll definitely be looking into them for this service. Thank you again Jared and Gail!

I 'd decided on a frame at different store, but after dropping in to look a bit at Modern Day Optx, I happened to speak with the optician, Jared, about my plan to get progressive lenses. His expertise and his objective, totally non-pushy way of offering advice and information made me switch to getting the same frame, and lenses, from him. Guidance on progressives from him and his team were tremendously helpful as I made the switch to this technically complex lens and selected among the competing manufacturers.

I visited them to help me fix two nice pairs of sunglasses. Both glasses had bent frames and were unwearable. Jared fixed both frames in a few minutes and did it for FREE!

This is a very nice store: my glasses had been damaged and a friend referred me here. They fixed them even though it was a brand they don’t carry. Plus they didn’t charge me for that service. How kind is that?!! Their merchandise is beautiful and they were meticulous in how they handled my eyewear. 5 stars!

I simply stopped in to ask if my glasses could be adjusted . Never been here before. I live far from the area. Jared not only adjusted my glasses - I had other questions about lenses and frames and he took so much time patiently advising me. Appreciated every minute and I may just have to come back for all my new glasses and lenses even though the location is nowhere near where I live and work. HIGHLY recommend Jared especially at this great store.
