Purchased a frame and lenses here in 2022. The optometrist is very good. He took ample time to examine my eyes and prepare a lens prescription. The other staff member we dealt with is quite rude and arrogant. Still, my partner and I went ahead and both purchased a frame and lenses. These were shipped to us from Yuma, AZ.
At first we were happy with our purchase, however, we quickly found out that the lenses are of inferior quality. They scratch easily, even with taking care to rinse the glasses first and not use an abrasive ‘lens cloth’. We both already had to have our lenses replaced as the scratches made them very hard to look through. The cost in the US is not that much higher than at Meyers in Mexico, so it’s a lesson well learned for both of us. We won’t be back.

I have had incredible service several times when a lens was lost. They replaced it for free while i was up north. Recently it happened again. Jorge came to the ranch, picked up the glasses, replaced the lens and repaired the frame, then returned them to the ranch.. all at no charge. I have been a customer for 4 or 5 yrars though i tried somewhere else once...not again!

The lenses of my glasses are the best that I have ever had. Top quality. I got progressive transitional with a cryzal coating. Man are they clear. Great work. Two pair with frames $700. Cannot beat the price and quality. They shipped them to me in Sun City West for free. Took a couple of days only to get them after being fitted there. Highly recommending them.

Large selection of glasses. Picked a pair and they were able to get them back in less than 24 hours when several others in town could not due to the lenses I needed. The glasses are exact . Ty

Stay away! First, for one year now they have my glasses and my money. I have zero hope of that ever changing. But that isn't even my complaint! They will do or say whatever they can to get your business, but just try to get your glasses, or a refund. Maybe you will get your glasses, but don't expect them to be on time, and do expect all kinds of stories from broken machine, to doctor told you such and such, to the owner says etc. Just stay away, there are other choices in town.

I am a yearly Winter Visitor to Yuma and have been using the Yuma and Los Algadones locations of Meyers Optical as long as I have been a part time resident. I have always found them professional, courteous and truly interested in my eye and eye glass needs. I have even used them through email and received the same great customer service and professionalism. If you are in this area and need a Professional Optometry service I highly recommend Meyer Optical.

Nothing bad to say about these guys! My husband had an accident and broke his glass. Everyone we talked to was extremely helpful and professional. Got his glasses in less than a week. We wont be going to anyone else. Highly recommend.

I do not recommend this place. The people are nice and polite but the service is bad. They lost my original lenses, I called spoke with a man who said he would call me back..never did. I went in person to point out the issue..have not heard anything from them yet. I will never return to this place. Good thing there is lots of places to chose from.
