So I'm old enough to realize people can do whatever they want with their businesses. I'm also old enough to know most businesses rely on revenue. Consequently, I can take my $$ where I'm treated with fairness and honesty.

About a year ago, I stopped by this store, Fashion Optical, and found an amazing pair of frames. And to my pleasant surprise, they were on sale! Awesome. So I agreed to order them but was told...."we take your kind of insurance but you can't use it because these frames are on sale". Hmmm? That didn't sit right with me because I pay for insurance. I want to use my insurance!

Last week, I went back because they have great frames. I walked in and first asked if they would take my insurance. I didn't want to waste anyone's time. One of the gentlemen went to check, came back to me and said, yes we do take your insurance. (Awesome!) I picked some designer frames, Tom Ford. They were expensive but I have good insurance that will pay a good chunk of the frames. When we started the ordering process, I was then advised, we take your insurance, but these don't qualify. Huh? Why? "Everything behind the locked glass is not eligible for insurance" use. Hmmm?

I mentioned my last visit to the guy and how what I wanted wasn't eligible. (And it wasn't behind glass on my 2nd trip)

Oh, and the ridiculous statement.. "we're not allowed to sell certain designer frames."....something about it was a contract or agreement with the designer. "Not allowed" ...Huh?

So today, I went to a different (AMAZING) eyewear boutique in Dallas that helped me. They also had Tom Ford. Their rep happened to be there and had the same frames as the SHADY place above. I got the same frames for $130 CHEAPER ...AND...they used my insurance. Wow, what a concept!!!! (Are you kidding me? $130 cheaper!!!)

Love this place! Gabriel was so great. Very helpful and super knowledgeable. I went in with an idea of the style of frames I wanted, yet he was able to take that vision and expand it to be so much more! It was such a relief to have assistance in what can sometimes be option-overload! Will definitely be coming back.

I love this place - it has an amazing selection of high-end glasses you won’t find anywhere else in the area. The people who work there are very friendly, personable, and don’t rush you. I always get compliments when I wear the sunglasses I bought here and I paid a bit more for them but happy I did every time put them on!
