As someone now clinically blind in their mid 20s, this place is awesome with the amount of care put into their patients. My last provider fitted my eyes incorrectly for contacts and Eyes of the World did not stop until satisfaction was met! A very rare trait to come across these days. Aubri is wonderful, never had someone else pick out my glasses before and she chose the best pair I’ve ever had. I can even glasses night drive again! If they can help me with grandma vision, they can surely help you!

I really appreciate the comfortable environment Eyes of the World provides. They also don't pressure you into buying contacts or glasses from them. But I recommend you do. They do a great job. There is a good selection of frames and had options that didn't break the bank. They did recommend a higher end contact, but also gave me options to lower cost ones.

I loved my experience with Eyes of the World last year. This year, I’ve had my annual exam cancelled twice; the first was scheduled in June, and I received a call that they’d need to reschedule me because a doctor would no longer be in the office that day. They didn’t have an opening for over a month. I took the appointment for July and just got the same call—a doctor will no longer be in the office and their next available appointment isn’t until August. I’m almost out of contacts and they told me the best they could do is give me a 10 day trial and maybe I could call a different location.

Update: after posting yesterday, the manager called me and informed me that they make appointments for emergencies and that he’ll speak with the front desk to ensure they’re doing that properly. The manager and doctors are all very nice here, I think it was a misunderstanding with me and the person who originally answered my call. Thank you guys for calling me back, much appreciated.

I’ve gone here for routine eye exams for a couple of years, and those have been good. I currently have sand in one eye and they won’t see me to get it checked out/rinsed out. I was told that they’re booked out for a while and to call my local optometrist. EOTW is my local optometrist. If they can’t see me within a day or two when there is a minor emergency then I don’t know why I’m going to them. The lack of support when it’s needed most is enough to make me switch optometrists. Just beware that they won’t fit you in if your eye is irritated/red/watering and needs attention.

Editing to add: I visited another eye doctor in the area and I have an abrasion and infection. Very grateful that the other doctor could fit me in for an urgent situation.
