I was needing new glasses and this was my closest and most convenient option.

I soon found out that it was also a friendly and easy going place to get new glasses!

Socorro, who helped me pick out my glasses, offered tons of selections that matched my look well. I was blown away by the hospitality here. Her expertise helped me choose a pair that I know would complement my facial features well.

No air puffs to the eye here! It’s quick and easy to get your eyes checked and the optometrist was very nice. It looks like they carry tons of contacts as well if you’re interested in that route.

I recommend you check it out, you will be pleased!

Came to get an eye exam and new glasses. They are an independent local Chicago business with great deals on glasses and affordable eye exams. AJ was super friendly and helpful, especially on giving both advice on how to make the most cost effective decisions and pick from their fun selection of frames!

I walked in with a broken pair of eye glasses and after short evaluation from a knowledgeable and friendly staff, they went off and quickly repaired them. The glasses are getting a bit tired so we also discussed options. I had a great experience and will definitely go back!

I went in to see if they could fix my dad's glasses after he took a nasty fall and broke them. Kevin was sympathetic and took his time trying to fix them. I really appreciate the time he spent getting the glasses back into shape. I definitely suggested to my dad he should come here when he plans to replace the damaged pair. Thank you again Kevin for all your help.

This was the most confusing experience with an optician I've ever had. They were much more concerned about insurance payoffs then they were about caring for my eyes.
Not sure why I had to talk to three separate people that were getting more upset with me than I didn't want insurance to pay for my eye exam and I was more than happy to pay for it out of pocket. After 30 minutes of back and forth, I just walked out because, wow, if they're this bad up front I can't even imagine their follow-ups here list is anything close to competent.

Update: They had tried to charge my insurance upon making the appointment, not upon delivery. I never signed anything and they were basically trying to double-dip. Not the only review on this list where this comes up.

These are shady people who make Lakeview worse overall.

Stopped by on Friday to schedule an eye exam. They got me in quickly and the exam was efficient! AJ did a great job talking through all of the charges, the insurance verifications, and helped select several frames for me to try on after my exam. This was a great place with good energy and an excellent staff. Would highly recommend.

From beginning to end, my experience with all the employees was perfection. Amazing selection of eyewear. Could not decide between my two favorite frames, so got both. Love!!!

Had a fantastic experience here! Staff was very helpful and polite. AJ was great. H helped me pick two pairs of great glasses that fit my wants and style very well. Never thought I'd look great in pink lenses!!
